Two weeks out: book it all from home
The spa timeline is the easiest part of a wedding to lock in remotely, and the one couples most often leave for "when we get there" — by which point the week has swallowed them. Two weeks ahead, send us one WhatsApp message with the wedding date and the party's size, and we'll map the whole countdown below onto your actual week: which day the facial lands, when the group block runs, where the couples hour fits around the rehearsal. Ten minutes now, zero decisions during the week itself.
Five to four days out: the facial — not later
If the bride wants a facial before the wedding, this is the window. Skin sometimes responds to a deep cleanse with a day of redness or a small breakout as it settles, so the buffer matters: three to five days before the ceremony, never the day before. Forty minutes, and the glow lands exactly on schedule.
This is also the week's best moment for practical decisions: if anyone in the party wants beach braiding, test the style now rather than experimenting the morning of the ceremony.
Three days out: the bridal-party block
Guests have arrived, the group is complete, and nobody has wedding-eve nerves yet — this is the day for the bridal-party massage block. We run treatments back-to-back with our therapists in rotation, either at our spa inside the Takuma Boutik Hotel or brought to your villa anywhere in Las Terrenas (flat US$20 travel fee, tables and towels included). The day before: one calm hour for two
The single best booking of the week: a couples massage for the bride and groom the afternoon before the wedding. Two therapists, one room, sixty minutes where nobody can ask either of you a question. Couples walk out of that room noticeably more like themselves — and wedding-eve sleep, famously elusive, comes easier after a massage than after a fourth run-through of the timeline.
Keep the evening after it deliberately empty. Rehearsal dinner if you must — but protected, early, short.
The morning of: only the light touches
Wedding morning is for hair, makeup and braiding touch-ups — things that add polish without asking anything of the body. Not the morning for a first-ever massage or any treatment the skin hasn't met before. Everything experimental happened earlier in the week; today only repeats what already worked.
A note for the maid of honor (or the groom)
The bride's treatments make one of the best wedding-week gifts there is, precisely because she would never carve out the time herself. It happens quietly: whoever is gifting messages us, we set up the bookings under the week's schedule, and the bride just gets told where to be and when.
